lol so i got a bit pre-maturely happy with this one. It scanned badly due to the fact that I drew Iggy first with pencils and then dida painted background. Well at least I learned my lesson So that when I drew my monkeys I knew what not to do. Anyway I love Iggy Pop, even if he is old and made of leather, he still is a demon.
Preparations are in full swing for the NMITs diploma of illustration graduate exhibition Illustre 2011! Opening at Chapel off Chapel on the 8th of November from 6pm it showcases the best work of the graduating students. Some come on down to Prahan, enjoy some food and maybe buy a starving art student a beer?
Featured work includes Humming Bird Poster by Sally Landells, Chocolate Apple by Sharnee Taylor, and illustrated cushions printed and sewn by Josephine Dempsey (me!)
Hope to see ya’ll there
There is less than 3 weeks until the Illustre 2011 exhibit. . . to say I am starting to stress and freak out is a bit of an understatement. There is still a lot of work to be done but I am super excited about it being all over with soon. This pic I tried to make 3d. I do not know how well it works but feel free to go into your cupboards and grab those 3d glasses that you “forgot to give back to the cinema” and take a gander.
